How Does a Rise in International Shipping Costs Affect U.S. Inflation?


Abstract: Trenton Herriford, Elizabeth M. Johnson, Nicholas Sly, and A. Lee Smith find that an increase in ocean shipping costs leads to a modest boost in core inflation after one year.
